Baum Research & Development is committed to bringing baseball back to its design origin — wood like baseball. For too long, baseball's youngest hitters have been intruded upon with metal bats, robbing them of the training they need to develop their skills, and entering them into a world of false teaching and temporary results while placing pitchers at risk with faster batted ball exit speeds. Our goals are facilitated through research and development into all the areas surrounding the complex event of hitting. We accomplish these goals by developing sophisticated custom testing machinery and equipment to evaluate bats, balls, hitting and hitters.
